目前主要从事纳米材料,新能源材料和仿生材料的设计和物理机制研究。在中国物理学会秋季学术会议中分会邀请报告讲述了本组的热电相关研究成果。指导的研究生获得国家奖学金5人次,指导本科生获得国家级大学生创新计划项目1人次并获三等奖。主持了国家自然科学基金面上项目、中国博士后科学基金项目、国防基金项目、聊城大学高层次人才项目等基金项目。以第一作者或通讯作者在国际著名SCI期刊《PRB》,《Nano Letters》,《APL》,《Carbon》,《J MEMBRANE SCI》,《JPCL》, 《JMCC》, 《Appl. Surf. Sci. 》,《Nanoscale》, 《NANOSCALE RES LETT》等,发表文章六十多篇。是SCI期刊《Nature Communication》,《Nano today》,《Carbon》,《Nanotechnology》,《J. Phys. Chem.》,《J. Alloys Compd》等的审稿人。

凝聚态物理,计算物理。
纳米新能源材料设计,仿生材料设计,低维量子物理机制。
